Permaculture and the Western Syndrome - Brent Karlin

It was a good day in your class today in Lawrence, KS. After unwinding a bit I found myself on the computer looking at the True Nature Design site and I read 3:26am and I thought this is something. What I read was a great tie up reminder of the heart of the day's lesson. Thankyou for what you do and what you share. Your stories, your lessons have awakened understanding.

Permaculture Design Course at Nyumbani Village - Kenya - Claire Kellerman

Dear Warren,

Thank you for your radiant example. I am inspired, touched and moved even more deeply into enthusiasm, if that's possible, as a PcD myself, teaching globally: Intro to Earth Art & Architecture and Permaculture Design Around The World in a slideshow and talk story. I founded The Maui Permaculture Network (MPN) April 2006, and welcome synergy as it feels true for you. I love Africa and have felt a serious interest in bringing PcD there for 6 years since I spent time at a South Central Los Angeles African American Film Festival and heard a panel talk about the issues their. I stood up so all the press could hear me and said: If you dropped a team of Permaculture Designers in Africa, they could address every issue and empower the children. I could teach them to build their own homes from the earth on site, and food can be grown regeneratively...it was a great moment, and here you are! I would love to collaborate, in God's time...Aloha from Maui, Claire I am a writer & photographer for ERGObaby's ERGOparent.com online magazine. Let me know if you see a need for baby carrier donations. They are a great HandsFree system my friend created; best for baby's development and comfort and safety too.

Permaculture Courses Coming Up in Rural Kenya - Warren Brush

Hello,
I must have missed this comment on my website. I have taught many courses around the world over the past years and have demonstration site in California (www.quailsprings.org). There are many benefits of Permaculture Education which include the efficiency and efficacy that comes from integrated design and biomimicry. We are finding that our education programs coupled with its application in a demonstration project is most effective in developing lasting solutions for individual, family and community stability, resilience and mutually beneficial diversity. My email is w@quailsprings.org if you want a further dialogue. I am currently in Kenya about to teach a drylands course.

In growing peace and stability,
Warren Brush
